GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Nine people had to be sent to the hospital after a major crash on US 23.
Officers with the Raceland Police Department say it happened just before 10:15 Sunday morning.
Three cars were involved.
Police say they are not sure what cause the accident at this time. However, they do believe speed was a factor.
Officers tell WSAZ.com they will have to reconstruct the accident to find out exactly what happened.
US 23 was closed for over an hour but has since been reopened.
No word on the condition of the nine who were injured at this time.
