Snowfall Creating Slick Driving Conditions

UPDATE 12/16/13 @ 7:45 a.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is moving slow along Interstate 64 between Charleston and Huntington.

Slick road conditions have caused several accidents in the westbound lanes of I-64.

A truck is on its side just before the Milton exit. Other accidents have been reported just before the Scott Depot exit and Hurricane exit.

No serious injuries have been reported, but drivers are urged to use caution.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Early morning snowfall has created slick conditions on roads throughout our region.

Several wrecks were reported throughout our region Monday morning, with multiple wrecks on Interstate 64 stretching from Carter County, Ky. to Cabell County. In Kanawha County, a wreck was reported on Quick Road in Quick, W.Va.

Emergency officials are urging drivers to use extra caution on the roads and to give themselves extra time to reach their destination.
