PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A tip about a possible meth lab being transported in a pick-up truck ended Friday with the driver being arrested.

Deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office arrested James Baldwin, 31, of Paintsville early Friday morning.

Sheriff Dwayne Price says the truck had been seen traveling in the Thelma area.

Price says various meth precursors, as well as finished meth products, were found in the truck.

Baldwin was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of meth precursors and possession of meth.

He was then taken to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
