HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Area dispatchers are urging drivers to use caution during the early morning hours Friday.

The roads are just wet in most places, but there is black ice on some bridges and overpasses.

A Lincoln County 911 dispatcher told WSAZ.com that a jeep turned over about 3 a.m. Friday on Route 3 near Yawkey.

The dispatcher said the cause of the wreck was weather-related and that there is a lot of black ice on Route 3.

A Cabell 911 dispatcher told WSAZ.com that road crews have been called out to treat the 17th Street West Bridge in Huntington.

It's not yet known whether a wreck in Sissonville is weather-related.

It happened about 5:31 a.m. Friday.

One person was injured and taken to the hospital when a vehicle went over the hill just off Derricks Creek Road.

Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation were out Friday morning to treat and clear roadways from a night of rain, freezing rain and sleet.

Kathleen Fuller, with ODOT District 9, said "Although the area continues to receive rain and periods of freezing rain, pavement conditions in the area's counties are improving, with state and federal routes along the southern and eastern corridor mostly wet. Crews in Lawrence, Scioto and Jackson counties are reporting roads to be wet, with some localized areas of light slush."
