BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – Firefighters say they arrived on the scene of a trailer fire Thursday morning to find flames shooting nearly 30 feet into the sky.
The fire happened in the 200 block of Lee Street in Westwood about 7:40 a.m.
Firefighters say that an elderly man lived in trailer and that he was staying with a family member when the fire started.
They also tell WSAZ.com they had difficulty fighting the fire due to the amount of stuff inside the trailer.
No word on how the fire started. The trailer is a total loss.
Crews from several departments helped fight the fire.
