UPDATE 11/5/13 @ 11:05 p.m.
MORGAN COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested Tuesday in a hit-and-run accident that killed two people Saturday night in Morgan County, Kentucky State Police say.

Tony Kegley Jr. was charged with two counts of manslaughter, second-degree leaving the scene of an accident, and tampering with physical evidence.

The accident happened about 7 p.m. Saturday along Ky. 1010 near Ezel, in Morgan County, Ky.

Troopers say Elizabeth Thornsberry, 41, of Ezel, and Tony Ross, 48, of Clearfield, Ky., had been at a bar in Maytown, Ky., when Ross left on foot and was followed by Thornsberry in her car.

Investigators believe that Thornsberry stopped her car and got out to speak with Ross. As the pair stood in the westbound lane, a vehicle traveling west hit and killed them.

Kegley was arrested Tuesday after KSP troopers executed a search warrant at his home. Troopers had received an anonymous tip on Facebook about possible involvement by Kegley.

It was determined that Kegley owns a pickup truck matching the description of the tip -- a blue 2002-2005 year model GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab short wheel base pickup.

The incident remains under investigation.
