UPDATE: Webbville Man Pleads Not Guilty to Murder, Kidnapping

LOUISA, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A Lawrence County, Ky. man indicted for the killing his wife pleaded not guilty to the charges during a hearing Friday morning.

Aaron Uhlmann, 41, of Webbville, Ky. was arraigned for murder and kidnapping during a hearing in Lawrence County Circuit Court.

Uhlmann was arrested by deputies in Carter County back in December.

This was several days after investigators in Lawrence County say he called 911 telling them he had beaten his wife.

Jennifer Priddy, 54, was taken to local hospital. She died of her injuries late last month.

Investigators say Priddy was tied up and beaten to the point where she suffered head injuries.

Uhlmann remains in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

His next court hearing is set for May 20.

Aaron Uhlmann, 41, of Webbville, Ky. is scheduled to be arraigned on the murder charge, along with a kidnapping charge next week.

Uhlmann was arrested by deputies in Carter County back in December. This was several days after investigators in Lawrence County say he called 911 telling them he had beaten his wife.
