Woman Arrested for Child Abuse

WEST LIBERTY, Ky (WSAZ) -- A case of child abuse has a woman behind bars.
Kentucky State Police say they got a complaint about a child being abused at a home in West Liberty, Kentucky.
Troopers searched the home, and arrested 33-year-old Shanna Helton.
Helton is charged with assault and child abuse.
She is now in the Big Sandy Regional Jail in Paintsville, KY.
The incident is still being looked into by Kentucky State Police.
