Laptops continue to be a convenient target for thieves in Huntington.
Police say a construction trailer in the 1300 block of 6th was broken into and a Dell laptop was stolen. This happened Friday morning (4/25) at ten.
Two employees did chase the suspect and the laptop was dropped, but this is another example of laptops being a target of theft.

Another laptop was taken out of a 6th avenue apartment. Huntington Police report the laptop was taken along with an X-Box and accessories, in all about $2,000 worth of property was taken. Police say all of it was in the living room and there was a crack in the front door that is how Police believe the thief got in.

Some residents on Locust Street are reporting burglaries the past two weeks.
A Huntington woman told WSAZ.com that three suspects are knocking on doors, mowing lawns and in the process they break into and steal things from residents.
We are continuing to follow these reports.

Police say about $2,000 worth of golf equipment was taken from a car in the 100 block of 9th avenue.
Huntington Police say the rear right window of the vehicle was broken out.
This happened between April 24th and the 25th.

Copper was cut from three apartments in the 600 block of Adams Avenue April 24th.
Huntington Police listed a resident who is currently being evicted as a suspect.
Police say about $1,500 worth of copper was taken from the apartment building.

On Saturday April 26th Huntington Police say someone broke into an 1100 Jefferson residence. They stole stereo equipment and multiple gaming systems.
Total, about $1,000 worth of stuff was taken.

Huntington Police say three car windows were broken out in the Department of Health and Human Resources parking lot over the weekend.
This building is at 2699 Park Avenue.
Police reported three vehicles had broken windows.
