PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Complaints of drug trafficking coming from an apartment in Portsmouth leads to one person being arrested on drug charges.
Portsmouth Police, along with the Scioto County Common Pleas Court Parole and Probation Departments, searched an apartment in the 100-block of Boundary Street around 9:30 Tuesday evening.
Police say they found 103 grams of heroin, with a street value of $15,000. Officers also found documents indicating people at the residence had been involved in drug trafficking.
Ronald Gavin, also known as "III Town", was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and a parole violation. He was expected to be arraigned on Wednesday morning.
Portsmouth Police say more charges on Gavin, along with more arrests, are pending. The case will be presented to the Scioto County Grand Jury.
