3 Southeastern Ohio Counties Receive Nearly $1 Million for Improvements

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Three southeastern Ohio counties have received grants from the Ohio Development Services Agency to make infrastructure improvements.

Gallia County will receive $183,300 to replace three bridges in Guyan Township. The project will benefit 400 residents.

Jackson County will receive a $300,000 for improvements to multiple facilities, streets, sidewalks, water, parks and recreation facilities, and residential rehabilitation activities in the city of Wellston. The county will also receive a $166,500 for improvements to three bridges on Centerpoint Road. The projects will benefit 2,017 residents.
