911 Outage Affecting Much of Ohio, Including Scioto County

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A 911 outage issue affecting much of Ohio includes Scioto County, according to information released Monday night by the Sheriff's Office.

In the meantime, people will need to call 740-354-7566 for the Sheriff's Office.

People who live in Portsmouth and New Boston will need to call their local police or ambulance service.

There is no estimated time of restoration of 911 service, since the source of the problem is unclear.
