LUCASVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A police chase in Scioto County ends with a man from Columbus, Ohio, in jail on drug charges.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says the short chase began about 9:30 p.m. Thursday after troopers tried to stop a driver on Houston Hollow Road for a moving violation.

Troopers say the pursuit ended after the driver struck a guardrail, a parked car and came to rest in a creek.

Antione Glanton, 34, was charged with possession of cocaine, drug trafficking and failure to comply.

Troopers say they found approximately 113 grams of cocaine in Glanton’s car. They say the drugs have a street value of about $9,500.

Glanton was taken to a local hospital before being booked in the Scioto County Jail.
