Deputies Bust Alleged Chop Shop in Jackson Co., Ohio; No Arrests Made

JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Some high-price stolen items have been recovered from an abandoned house on Jeffries Lane in Wellston.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, deputies recovered two ATV's, a canoe, two utility trailers and a pick-up truck owned y Rhino Sands Hill Mining, LLC., that had been taken from the work site Thursday night.

Sheriff Ted Frazier says the place appears to be a chop shop with stolen items that are being cut down and sold for scrap.

No arrests have been made and it's unclear how long the chop shop has been in operation.
