Deputies Find Burglary Suspect Hiding in Mattress

SCIOTO COUNTY, Oh. (WSAZ) -- An accused burglar was found hiding in a mattress, according to sheriff's deputies.

Scioto County Sheriff's Deputies tell WSAZ.com Matthew Dawson is responsible for a string of burglaries. Police say they searched a home in Sciotoville and found Dawson hiding inside a circular cutout in a mattress.

Deputies arrested Dawson without incident and charged him with burglary, breaking and entering and grand theft auto.

Police recently recovered several stolen items including a pick-up truck in Kentucky, according to a press release.
