GALLIA COUNTY, OHIO (WSAZ) -- A driver is behind bars after fleeing from a trooper during a traffic stop in Gallia County, Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol arrested Larry C. Ferguson, 23, of Canal Winchester, about 11:30 Thursday morning.
Lt. Max Norris tells WSAZ.com that a trooper pulled Ferguson over at the rest area off of U.S. 35 just after 7 a.m.
Norris says Ferguson then ran from the trooper, jumped a fence behind the rest area and then ran into some brush.
Ferguson was arrested after being spotted along Goetting Road.
He was charged with a traffic violation and resisting arrest.
Ferguson is being held in the Gallia County Jail.
