PROCTORVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Three families are looking for a place to sleep after losing their home in a fire Monday.

Proctorville Fire Chief Thorton Thomas tells WSAZ.com that five adults and four children were in the home when the fire started.

The fire was reported about noon at a home at 60 Township Road 1267 in Proctorville, Ohio.

Everyone was able to get out okay

Crews tell WSAZ.com they are having a little trouble fighting the fire due to some secondary explosions. At this time they don't know what’s causing those explosions, and as a result they are being cautious fighting the fire.

The State Fire Marshal's Office has been called to the scene.

No word on what caused the fire.
