Five Busted for Drugs in Three Traffic Stops

LUCASVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Five people have been arrested on drug charges during three separate traffic stops in Scioto County Wednesday.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says in the first stop along US 23 near Lucasville,a passenger in the car, Aaron Ford Jr, 49, of Columbus, was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of marijuana.

In the second stop also along US 23, troopers seized 289 Oxycodone pills with a street value of $11,560.

Donte S. Murphy, 24, Derick P. Fonville, 24, and Briana M. Koger, 19, all of Detroit, were charged with drug possession and drug trafficking.

The third stop happened on Taylor Hill near Minford.

Roger D. Reed, 40, of Minford, was charged with OVI and drug possession.

All five people were taken to the Scioto County Jail.
