SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man from Lucasville, Ohio, currently awaiting sentencing on a meth conviction, has been arrested again and charged with making meth.
Detectives from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force arrested Paul M. Wampler, 63, at his home Tuesday morning
The Sheriff says Wampler let detectives search his home. Inside they found chemicals and materials used to make meth along with an “active” Pseudoephedrine extraction in a soda pop bottle.
Pseudoephedrine is the precursor to meth and is commonly found in many nasal decongestants.
Earlier this year, Wampler pleaded guilty to felony possession of meth and is awaiting sentencing in Scioto County Common Pleas Court.
Wampler is being held in the Scioto County Jail.
