IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A traffic stop for a driver going the wrong way on a one way street, led to a meth bust, but the suspect ran off.

Detective Joe Ross with Ironton Police tells WSAZ.com that William James Wilburn, 38, was driving the wrong way on Alison Street.

He was pulled over about 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say an active meth lab was found in a bottle in Wilburn's car.

When the officer took Wilburn's license and went to check to see if he had warrants out for his arrest, police say Wilburn got out of his car and ran away.

Police are still trying to track him down.

He will be charged with traffic violations and possession and manufacturing of meth.

Call Ironton Police if you have seen him.
