GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A meth lab was found Tuesday at a mobile home in the 1700 block of Chatham Street after police originally went to investigate reports of a stolen heat pump, according to information from Gallipolis Police.
Officers found what appeared to be a discarded meth lab near the mobile home. They later found an active meth lab inside that home.
A meth lab tech from the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office helped safely dispose of the meth chemicals.
Three people have been connected to the scene, and charges are expected to be filed in the near future, police say.
