SOUTH POINT, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Police and Sheriff's deputies arrested a mother and son during a drug bust Tuesday afternoon.
South Point Police Chief Chris Majher said the two were working together to sell morphine tablets, along with other narcotic drugs.
It happened about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Majher said when the SWAT team entered the home, 47-year-old Cheryl Hurdman and her 18-year-old son Josh Fitzpatrick were found using drugs inside.
Majher said Hurdman was getting morphine tablets through legal prescriptions, but then using Fitzpatrick to sell what she didn't use.
Hurdman's 15-year-old daughter also was in the living room at the time.
Both were taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center and will be arraigned at 9 a.m. Friday.
