OAK HILL, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A woman was arrested on drug charges after nearly $77,000 worth of cocaine and heroin was found in the trunk of a car she was driving on Ohio 93, Oak Hill Police say.
Monica Bryant, 34, of Columbus, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of heroin.
A search found 497 grams of cocaine and 117 grams of heroin, with an estimated street value of $77,000, concealed in the trunk of the car.
Police say they stopped a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze for a following-too-close violation on Ohio 93. That was about 4:25 p.m. Friday.
A K-9 unit was brought to the scene after police suspected possible drug activity. A probable cause search was conducted after the K-9 alerted officers it found something.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the case.
