OU Student Arrested, Indicted on Drug Charges

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- An Ohio University student accused of selling drugs was in court Wednesday.

Bond for Cory Bohache, 21, of Athens, was set at $300,000, with 10% allowed.

He was arrested Tuesday on one count of trafficking cocaine, one count of trafficking marijuana and one count of possession of cocaine.

Prosecutor Keller Blackburn says on January 18, Bohache sold 29.09 grams of cocaine and 14.65 grams of marijuana to a confidential informant. Investigators also found drugs in his home.

A trial was scheduled for May 6.

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- An Ohio University student was arrested Tuesday on drug trafficking charges.

The Athens County Prosecutor's Office says Cory Bohache, 21, of Athens, was indicted this week by a grand jury for one count of trafficking cocaine, one count of trafficking marijuana and one count of possession of cocaine.

Prosecutor Keller Blackburn says on January 18, Bohache sold 29.09 grams of cocaine and 14.65 grams of marijuana to a confidential informant.

Bohache lives within 1000 feet of a school, according to investigators.

When they searched his home, investigators found 27 grams of cocaine.

Bohache is expected to be in court on Wednesday.

In an effort to curb drug trafficking in Athens County, the Athens Police Department, Ohio University Police Department, and the Athens County Prosecutor's Office took on the joint operation.
