PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Two people have been arrested following a month long drug investigation in Scioto County, Ohio.
Tuesday afternoon, members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force arrested 33-year-old Robert Lawson and 30-year-old Patricia Dixon, both of Portsmouth, at a house in the 700-block of Center Street in Wheelrsburg.
Sheriff Marty Donini and Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Ware said that during a search of the house officers seized 86 Oxycodone pills, 43 Hydrocodone pills, 11 Suboxone pills, 7 Xanax pills, a .380 caliber handgun and over $5,000 in cash.
Task Force Detectives say they also seized thousands of dollars worth of property derived from drug sales.
Lawson and Dixon were charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.
