Woman Dies in Motorcycle vs. Pickup Truck Crash; Name Released

WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A Scioto County woman died Friday after a motorcycle she was operating collided with a Toyota pickup truck on Ohio 522, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol news release.
Diana Dyer, 59, of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene by Porter Emergency Medical Services.
The motorcycle operated by Dyer went left of center and collided with the pickup truck. It was driven by a 37-year-old Wheelersburg man.
The crash was reported at 3:22 p.m. Friday and happened near the 3-mile marker of Ohio 522.

WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A person died Friday afternoon in a crash involving a car and a motorcycle, Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatchers say.
The crash was reported at 3:22 p.m. Friday on Ohio 522. The roadway remained closed hours later as accident reconstruction investigators examined the scene.
More information is expected to be released late Friday or early Saturday.
