Police Looking for Bank Robbery Suspect

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) – Portsmouth Police are looking for the man who robbed the PNC Bank branch in Sciotoville.

The hold-up was reported just before 2 p.m. Monday at the bank in the 400 block of Harding Avenue.

Witnesses said the man entered the bank and demanded money.

Detectives say he did not show or indicate he had a weapon.

The suspect was wearing jeans, a gray hat and a red/burgundy sweatshirt

He was last seen running from the bank, heading north.
