OAK HILL, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Police in Oak Hill, Ohio say they found more than $11,000 in cash “strategically” hidden in a car during a traffic stop.
Police Chief Christopher Gruber says say the four people in the car, all from the Columbus area, now face possible charges.
Chief Gruber says the car was stopped along SR 93 about 11:45 Sunday night for a traffic violation.
Oak Hill’s Police Cannie “Dago” was called to the scene and during a search of the car found the money.
Gruber would not say where the money was hidden or if there were any drugs in the car.
The Chief says all four people in the car have extensive histories in drug trafficking.
The case is being turned over to the Meigs County Prosecutor for possible prosecution.
