PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Two Portsmouth men remain jailed on meth-making charges after the recent discovery of a meth lab and related materials, according to information from Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Ware and Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini.
Bryce Shover, 24, and Shane S. McGlone, 33, both were charged with illegal assembly of possession of chemicals for the manufacture of meth and the illegal manufacture of meth.
Both men were arrested after an authorized search of a home last Friday in the 2100 block of Robinson Avenue in Portsmouth.
Officers found a variety of meth-making materials, including a one-pot meth cook.
McGlone also had outstanding felony arrest warrants on indictment for breaking and entering and failing to appear, which had been issued by the Scioto County Common Pleas Court.
Shover and McGlone were arraigned Monday in Portsmouth Municipal Court.
Shover, whose bond was set at $150,000, is being held in the Scioto County Jail, and McGlone is being held without bond.
The cases against Shover and McGlone will be forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office to be presented to a Scioto County grand jury.
