LUCASVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Part of Robert Lucas Road was closed Monday because of the threat of more landslides in the area, authorities said.

They said rocks have fallen onto the road recently in Scioto County. It is expected to remain closed until Thursday.

While those rocks have been cleaned up, the threat of additional falling rocks has forced the Ohio State Highway Patrol to close the road for now.

A township trustee we spoke with said emergency contracting was being approved Monday night.

The road will remain closed until Thursday so those repairs can be made.
