MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Three people are facing charges after a meth lab bust at a home near Middleport.

Sheriff Keith Wood says deputies responded to a home in the 28000 block of State Route 7 Saturday evening, to find a suspect wanted for questioning for a breaking and entering.

When they got on scene, deputies found marijuana at the house. They executed a search warrant and found 51-year-old Tony Chapell, the homeowner, Stephanie Lyons, 33, and Michael Napper, 31.

Deputies were advised there was an active meth lab in the home. A one-pot lab was found cooking, according to investigators.

All three were charged with manufacturing meth, drug possession and illegal assembly of chemicals.

Napper is also wanted on similar charges out of Vinton County, as well as endangering children, and drug possession in Meigs County. He was recently indicted on another meth charge in Meigs County.

The suspects are being held in Meigs County until they can be arraigned on the charges next week.

Middlepot Police and Middleport Fire Department assisted in the case.

The original suspect wanted for the breaking and entering was not at the home at the time of the search.
