PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A raid at a residence in Portsmouth ends with three people in jail on drug charges.
Members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force executed a narcotics-related search warrant at the residence in the 1600 block of of 6th Street Thursday afternoon.
Task Force officers say they seized approximately 28 grams of heroin, about $2000 in cash, digital scales, and additional drug trafficking related evidence. The heroin has an estimated street value of $3,000.
Arrested were Amanda B. Price, 27, and Ronald J. Hoag, 22, both residents of the house, along with Curtis O. Jackson, 25, of Dayton.
All three are charged trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.
Officers say a child was in the house when the raid took place.
All three people are in the Scioto County Jail.
