LUCASVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A traffic stop in Scioto County ends with troopers seizing more than $200,000 worth of illegal drugs and arresting two people.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says about 9 p.m. Wednesday, troopers pulled over a car on U.S. 23 in Lucasville.
During a search, troopers say they found half a kilogram of heroin, 4500 Oxycodone pills and 270 Oxymorphone pills hidden in a duffle bag.
The driver, Ashley Johnson, 24, and Khadeja Avery, 26, both of Hamtramck, Mich., were arrested and charged with possession of heroin, and drug trafficking.
Both were taken to Scioto County Jail.
