Two Women Arrested on Drug Charges in Traffic Stop

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Two women from Portsmouth face drug charges following a traffic stop on U.S. 23 north of Lucasville, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Helen Johnson, 33 and Katelyn Rayburn, 21, both of Portsmouth, Ohio, were each charged with possession of crack cocaine.

Troopers say they found 54 grams of crack cocaine on one of the women, and a gram of crack cocaine in their car.

They say the crack cocaine has a street value of $5,500.

The women are being held in the Scioto County Jail.
