VINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A Vinton County man was arrested Tuesday in connection with possession of child pornography charges, investigators say.
Robert Peoples of Hamden was among suspects arrested in a statewide crackdown on suspected child sex offenders in Ohio.
It was all part of the Ohio Attorney General's office "Operation Download." Investigators in four different parts of the state executed search warrants Tuesday.
The suspects are all accused of possessing pornographic images of children under the age of 11.
Attorney General Mike Dewine says since he has started his crimes against children program in 2011. There have been more than 70 arrests, including two recent investigations in Gallia County.
