SUTTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Jesse Johnson and Bob Henry Baber are again candidates for West Virginia's Mountain Party.

Media outlets report that the party chose Johnson to run for governor at its Sunday convention in Sutton.

Johnson was also its gubernatorial nominee in 2004 and 2008. He ran as well in the 2010 special election for U.S. Senate.

Baber is the party's nominee in this year's U.S. Senate race. Baber represented the party in last year's special gubernatorial election.

The party also selected former state Sen. Charlotte Pritt as its chairwoman.

Pritt was the Democrats' unsuccessful nominee for governor in 1996. She also ran for governor in 1992, first as a Democrat and then as an independent write-in after losing the party's primary.

The party represents nearly 1,300 of the state's 1.2 million voters.
