UPDATE @ 10pm
ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Friends and family of Heather Snively plan to gather Tuesday to say goodbye to a young mom-to-be who was murdered in Oregon.
Snively, who is originally from St. Albans, was eight months pregnant when she died. She had been living in Oregon and was killed there earlier this month.
A woman named Korena Roberts hit Snively in the head and cut her baby out of her womb. Police said the two women first met on the Web site Craigslist.com when Snively was searching for baby clothes.
Roberts was back in court on Monday, and we just learned that she will face additional charges. They include the murder of Snively, as well as robbery charges. But the only homicide charge she will face will be for Snively's death. She will not be charged separately for the death of Snively's baby because of Oregon law.
Snively's funeral is Tuesday at Maranatha Fellowship in St. Albans.
The funeral for Heather Snively is set for 6 p.m. at Maranatha Fellowship Church. The church she attended as a youth, Green Valley Church of God, has started a fund to help Snively's family pay for funeral expenses.
Snively was about eight months pregnant when her body was found June 5 in the crawl space of a home. Her fetus had been cut from her womb.
A woman has been charged with murder in Snively's death. Prosecutors in Oregon will have to decide by Monday whether murder charges can also be brought against 27-year-old Korena Roberts in the baby's death.
