KENOVA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An armed robbery was reported Wednesday evening at the CVS Pharmacy in the 1400 block of Oak Street (U.S. 60), according to information from Kenova Police.
The robbery was reported just after 7 p.m., and the store is expected to be closed the rest of the night as officers investigate. No one was reported hurt.
Employees told police a man walked to the pharmacy, handed them a note saying he had a gun and that he wanted pills. The man got away with some pills. Employees said they didn't actually see a gun.
Officers also said it appears the man broke into a car in the parking lot of the business.
Police are looking at surveillance video for more clues.

Another of the photos shows a small white car believed to be the car the suspect was inside.
Kenova Police said it's possible the suspect's first name is John. He is described as about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build.
