UPDATE 7/16/14 @ 10:05 p.m.
LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two men were arrested Wednesday in a convenience store robbery that happened earlier in the day, West Virginia State Police say.
Shane Hensley, 25, and Jason Adkins, 35, both of Chapmanville, West Virginia, were taken into custody. Both are charged with armed robbery.
Adkins and Hensley both are in the Southwestern Regional Jail.
The 7-Eleven along W.Va. Route 10 in Kitchen was robbed about 4 a.m. Wednesday. That is just outside of Chapmanville.
"It's a small community. You don't expect it to happen here," said Adkin's neighbor Nicole Wakefield. "It's everywhere else but here, ya know?"
Troopers say the suspects in the robbery took off and believe they set a nearby outbuilding on fire.
"There just seems to be a couple of events that occurred directly after each other that makes it seem strange," said Trooper Marcus Broadwater with the West Virginia State Police.
Additional charges in connection with that fire are possible.
