Two Found Dead in House Near Barboursville; Names Released

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police have released the names of two people found dead in a home in Cabell County.

State Police tell Barry Stewart, 31, and Kimberly Stines, 34, both of Huntington, were found dead in a home in the 6200-block of Division Road Tuesday morning.

They say their bodies may have been there for several days.

A family member found the pair and called 911 around 10 a.m.

Investigators are not releasing how the two died, but do say a gun was involved. They also say there are no other suspects in the case and the investigation is isolated to the home.

State Police tell that the couple has a history of domestic violence.

They are continuing to investigate.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people have been found dead inside a house near Barboursville.

W.Va. State Police were called to the house in the 6200 block of Division Road shortly after 10 a.m. Monday.

Minutes earlier 911 received a call from family members of the victims who found the bodies.

Troopers tell that it appears the two people have been dead for several days. They say a gun was found inside the house.

State Police say this was not a random act, and that neighbors should not be worried.

The names of the victims will be released once family members are notified.

A friend of the victims tells the two people have a history of arguing.
