Two People Hospitalized after Charleston Accident

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people are in the hospital after an accident in Charleston.
The accident was reported just after 7 a.m. Monday at the intersection of MacCorkle Avenue and the 35th Street Bridge.
Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com a woman was driving west on MacCorkle Avenue when she hit a car coming off the bridge. Two people were taken to the hospital. No word on their conditions.
The westbound lanes were closed for a short time, but have since reopened.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The westbound lanes of MacCorkle Avenue in Kanawha City are closed after an accident.
The accident was reported just after 7 a.m. Monday at the intersection of MacCorkle Avenue and 35th Street Bridge.
Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com the accident involved two cars and two people were taken to the hospital. No word on their conditions.
Police are still trying to figure out what caused the accident.
