UPDATE: EMTs Released from Hospital after Ambulance Rollover in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority tells WSAZ.com the two EMTs hurt in a rollover accident on Tuesday have been released from the hospital.

A patient was also in the ambulance at the time of the accident. The patient's name and condition have not been released.

The accident happened about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday on Hollywood Branch Road near Madison in Boone County.

West Virginia State Police are currently investigating the crash.

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police say two EMTs and a patient were taken to the hospital following an ambulance rollover crash Tuesday evening.

The accident was reported about 5:40 p.m. on Hollywood Branch Road, just south of Madison. Troopers say the ambulance went over an embankment.

The three people were taken to Logan Regional Hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known.

The ambulance crew is based in Logan County.

State Police continue to investigate.

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Three people are hurt following a rollover crash involving an ambulance Tuesday evening.

Boone County 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the accident happened about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday on Hollywood Branch Road, just South of Madison.

They say all three people on board have been taken to the hospital.

No word on their conditions.

Hollywood Branch Road is closed at this time.

West Virginia State Police are on the scene.
