NICHOLAS, COUNTY, W.Va (WSAZ) -- Investigators are still working to find the cause of a fire that killed two men Monday.
The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office tells WSAZ.com that they are still waiting to hear back from the state medical examiner as to the cause of death for the two men.
Family members told WSAZ.com that Delbert Cutlip, 57, and James "Bud" Freeman, 62, died late Monday afternoon when their house caught fire along Route 55.
Freeman's wife was able to make it out safely. They believe he died trying to save Cutlip, who was bedridden, according to family members.
At this time, the Fire Marshal's Office says preliminary results point to the fire being accidental.

Nicholas County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com that the fire is at a home off Route 55, just north of Summersville.
