Boone County Man Wanted for Threatening to Kill Police

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Investigators are looking for a man who threatened to kill police in Boone County.

West Virginia State Police say Russell Gillenwater called his parole officer Friday morning and threatened to kill officers.

Troopers say he is also a suspect in a grand larceny investigation.

Gillenwater is also wanted for violating his parole.

If you know where Gillenwater is, you're urged to call West Virginia State Police.
