UPDATE 11/20/13 @ 12:15 p.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A married couple was arrested overnight for two different things at two different crime scenes.

Police say April Dawn Weaver, 35, was driving along Falcon Drive about 4 a.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her car, drove through two fences and hit a house.

Just a few hours earlier, police arrested her husband, Terry Weaver, 53, at their home along Sugar Creek Drive. He's accused of lying to police about an overdose death.

Police say 35-year-old Richard Jones overdosed on heroin.

That's the same drug April admitted to using before the crash.

"The female admitted to shooting up heroin earlier in the evening and last night, so we have her over at the station under arrest for DUI controlled substance,” Charleston Police Cpl. Brian Jones said.

It's still unclear if there's any relation between the heroin April was using and the heroin responsible for Jones' death.

The Weaver's are currently in jail, and declined WSAZ’s request for an interview.

April Dawn Weaver has been charged with driving under influence of a controlled substance. Her bond is set at $2,500.

Terry Weaver has been charged with obstructing an officer. His bond is set at $5,000.

UPDATE 11/20/13 @ 8:30 a.m.
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman is facing charges after she lost control of her car and crashed into a home near Charleston.

April Dawn Weaver, 34, of Charleston, is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

The incident happened about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday along Falcon Drive.

Charleston Police say Weaver lost control of her vehicle and hit two fences before hitting the house. No one was hurt.

According to the complaint, Weaver's license was revoked in 2009 for an active DUI.

While Weaver was questioned by police, investigators say she had a hard time keeping her eyes open and had other symptoms which were consistent with opium usage.

According to the complaint, several syringes were found in Weaver's car and she later admitted she "shot up heroin earlier in the evening."

Weaver also told police she has a heroin problem, according to the complaint.

Police say they were at Weaver's house Tuesday night on Sugar Creek Drive where a person was found dead of a suspected drug overdose.

Weaver will be arraigned on the charge Wednesday in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
