CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man from Charleston is facing a sexual assault charge after an incident that happened back in August.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim was staying at a friend's house when Jesse James Nelson, 31, of Charleston, removed some of her clothing while she was sleeping and engaged in sexual misconduct.
Police say the victim woke up and told him to stop, but he didn't.
The alleged crime happened on August 22 in Charleston.
The victim's age was not released.
Nelson was charged with second degree sexual assault. He was arrested Tuesday.
If convicted, he faces 10 to 25 years in prison.
