CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is moving again on Interstate 64 after three vehicles crashed Monday afternoon.
It happened about 2:30 p.m. near the 19-mile marker in the eastbound lanes. That's about a mile before the first Huntington Mall Exit.
A semi and two cars were involved in the crash.
Cabell County 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com that one person was taken to the hospital. They didn't believe the injuries were serious.
Dispatchers says the eastbound lanes were closed for about two and a half hours. They reopened about 5 p.m.
There were also reports that as drivers were getting off I-64, traffic was also backed up on U.S. 60.
A semi and several other vehicles were involved in a crash near the 19-mile marker. The accident happened shortly before 2:30 Monday afternoon.
Dispatchers say one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Traffic is expected to be an issue until crews can remove the semi from the accident area.
Right now traffic is back up for several miles.
