UPDATE 2/13/13 @ 7:50 p.m.
PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Surveillance video released Wednesday shows two men deputies say are connected with the theft of three credit cards.
The men first broke into a car in the Rolling Acres subdivision of Putnam County. Then surveillance shows them purchasing $69.02 worth of goods. This incident happened at 4:22 a.m. Jan. 15.
The two men then make another stop at a McDonald's in Hurricane before making more purchases in Kentucky.
Putnam County Sheriff Steve Deweese said they're hoping the surveillance helps them nab the suspects.
Winfield resident Marsha Postle has lived in Winfield since 1972. She said she she has never had an incident of crime in her neighborhood, until last week.
"I came out here last Wednesday and found that my car was broken into," Postle said. "That the glove compartment had been gone through ... They only got my camera."
Postle said in the last month a friend and relative of hers has also been burglarized.
"I hope now that they have film of them with the credit cards; I hope they find them really quick," Postle said.
In the meantime, she and her neighbors are watching out for each others' property at night and keeping their front lights on.
The credit cards were stolen out of a car in the Rolling Acres subdivision near Winfield on Jan. 15.
Deputies say the men where caught on camera using the cards at the Pilot gas station in Nitro and they also made purchases in Kanawha County and Kentucky.
