KENOVA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Another young woman was arrested Tuesday after police say she was snorting drugs in the restroom at Dreamland Pool.

The woman was about 30 years old. She was given a summons to appear before a magistrate and barred from the pool, according to the Kenova Police Chief.

Just last week, two other women were arrested and charged for using heroin in the pool's bathroom.

The recent activity has led to bag checks as people enter the pool.

KENOVA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Drug problems at a popular pool in Kenova have management and police stepping up enforcement. Kenova police officers are doing routine bag checks as people enter the Dreamland Pool.

Officers have been called to the family friendly Dreamland pool twice this past week for drug problems.

Two women were arrested and charged for using heroin in the pool's bathroom.

That same day, police say three men were found smoking marijuana in the parking lot.

The checks aren't keeping anyone from sunbathing poolside, but the problems have raised some concerns for parents.
