LEWIS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An EMT has died after the ambulance he was riding in was involved in a crash.
Jan-Care officials tell WSAZ.com, one of its ambulances and a tractor trailer collided on I-79 in Lewis County about 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The ambulance was heading to Wyoming County after dropping off a patient at a hospital in Morgantown.
The paramedic driving the ambulance was treated and released for his injuries.
Mark Kinder, 26, was a passenger in the ambulance, he died in the crash.
Jan-Care says Kinder worked as an EMT for them.
No word on what caused the crash.
